Follow the Curiosity
Some topics simply capture a child’s attention. When that happens, learning can become something they actively chase, question, and explore on their own.
What Special Interests mean
A special interest is an invitation to go deeper. It might connect to school, begin with a favorite book, or grow from a question your child cannot stop asking.
How we approach it
We encourage children to stay curious and spend time with ideas that matter to them. Our goal is to give that curiosity somewhere meaningful to go through reading, writing, problem-solving, observation, and discovery.
Where to start
Start with what your child is talking about right now. Follow the questions, explore related subjects, and let one interest lead naturally to another.
